No, not me, thankfully. Oddly enough, until I read this article about the mugging of a deafblind woman,
I had assumed that being visibly disabled would actually work in one's
favour as far as muggings go -- the idea that 'there are just some
things you don't do' must apply to petty criminals, and mugging
disabled people must be among those off-limits activities.
Obviously not.
What's even more disconcerting here is the response of the emergency services. I'd like to think it'd be different here in Oz, but somehow I doubt it.
