I have been thinking more about this, especially seeing as all of my aunties are overseas.
I can see how you would feel that you don't spend enough time with them, but quality of time is also important. I have one auntie that I consider especially wonderful, mainly because I can remember a few key experiences and conversations with her. She lives in Wales and I only see her every four years or so.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, that by giving them new experiences and opening their eyes to possibilities they may not have been aware of, you are being a good auntie in my view. These may be some of the happiest moments from their childhood that they remember in years to come.
