Hair
Sometimes it's weird getting an understanding of how other people perceive you. A few people at work have said I have a very calming influence, which has absolutely no resonance with my internal state whatsoever most of the time. Today I got told that because I have my hair back in a bun most of the time, some of the people in the office had no idea how much hair I had - how long and thick it is (armpit length, fairly thick). The kicker? Apparently when I do wear my hair out in the office, I look 'wild and wanton'.
Heh. It was a tongue in cheek comment, but still. I guess it's a good thing I never wanted to go into the corporate world.
